    Location/access
The Hotel Alp is located right on the slopes of the Akakura Onsen Ski Area, just above the Chuo Lift that provides easy access to the rest of the huge Akakura area. Please zoom out on the map to see more of the area.

We’re only about 10 minutes by taxi from the station; buses do run regularly from Myokokogen Station to Akakura (and often synchronized to arriving train), but can be a little tight if you have a lot of gear). A more detailed local map, including location of the bus stop and directions for those coming by car, can be found here.

For a complete guide to getting to Myoko from Tokyo, Osaka and other gateway cities, please see the Myoko Tourist Office’s English-language access page.
